Organic garden snails and slugs love a cool place.

When the temperature is high; they would hunt for a cool location. Usually on fruit trees; or on vegetable plants.

It is a little surprised that they love also Lavender;
a herb plant that we thought they will not like the smell of it.

They came several each day on the bushes in our front yard.

Now you know where to find them; if you wish to remove them.

Female Spiders Mid-day Task!

Spiders are often seen spinning webs during the cool and dry period. Usually in late winter to early spring; and from late summer to late Autumn.

However, the females are preparing to lay eggs now.
They are quietly hiding under the leaves of the potato plants in a hottest afternoon.

When her babies are born; your leaves would be in holes and the plant would be covering with plentiful of webs and insects.

Now you have a choice to leave her alone or
remove her from the leaves.

Pond Plants are Damaging by your Goldfishes!

Plants in the pond are having their best performance now in the cool water and under the hot sun.

When the heavy wind blows; the plants would fall;
if they are not standing firm.

However, the goldfishes could knock down your plants during

Ants Insects Happy Hours!

Ants are most interested in all kinds of aphids pests.

When you see a leaf is rolled up; the first thing you would know is; there is insects or larvae hiding inside.

You may be tempted to remove it. However, you can take a closer look; before you take your action.

Most of the time, the beneficial insects are involved in the play.

Instead of removing them, leave them alone. As it will be handled naturally without your work.

Insects Pests are Roaming in Your Garden!

Insects pests would come out for their activities only when the sun power is high.

If you wish to remove them, the good time is in the noon;
when they are in their resting mood.

They would do damaging job only when they are under shadows;
or in a cooling environment.

I found two blue and green bottle flies enjoying their sun tanning session during the mid-day.

Home grown potatoes can be started as early as the weather permitted.

However, this year our Spring seems very extreme.
So, all the potato plants in containers are affected.

The plants grew very slow and need much more attention than
last few years.

Now is about June, they are still not in the fruits setting mood.

Plentiful of large leaves appeared due to the inconsistent of temperature, stormy wind and the non-stop heavy rain.

We have done a little different this year. When the outcome
is known will keep you inform.

If you have rose plants in your garden; please look closely on their new born little smiling leaves.

Plenty of Aphids or green flies will be hiding in between of them; either when the hot sun is shining above; or on a wet day.

If you wish to enjoy the complete organic flowers; you must remove the mini flies now; and continue picking out these insects pests everyday; then your rose plant will show up many good looking lovely roses.
